Tell us a little bit about yourself, your background, your interests, etc.
I am originally from Brookhaven, MS. I graduated from Brookhaven High, Copiah-Lincoln Community College and the University of Southern Mississippi. My husband Gary and I have been married for 42 years.
Do you have a favorite book? How about a favorite movie?
My favorite books are The Bible and The Diary of Anne Frank. My favorite movies are Steel Magnolias and Remember the Titans.
If you could wake up in the morning and start a new adventure, what would it be?
I would be in a Broadway play in New York.
What is your favorite thing about teaching?
I love seeing former students that have become successful, productive adults.
When you're not working, how do you spend your time?
I enjoy spending time with my family, playing games on my iPad, and watching "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit."
What might we be surprised to know about you?
I played shortstop on a softball team.
