Jr. Master Wellness Volunteers Prepare for Food Drive

Ninth grade Junior Master Wellness Volunteers (JrMWV) prepared collection boxes for a canned food drive to benefit the Anguilla Methodist Church Food Pantry. Boxes are located near the office, by the high school water fountains, in the gym, and in Ms. Hodnett's room. Donations will be collected through December 9th.

The JrMWV Program is a community health education and volunteer leader training program offered through the Mississippi State University Extension 4-H Program in partnership with the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) and the UMMC/Myrlie Evers-Williams Institute. It is partnered with Ms. Hodnett's 9th-grade health class and focuses on improving health literacy and healthy lifestyle choices, and delivering health messages to the community.
